Wife Pretty Hall of Fame September 2012: Sarah Beattie

Known to her 60,000+ Twitter and Instagram followers as nachosarah, Sarah Beattie has become a new-age luminary for comedy geeks.

Sarah initially captured our attention with her witty, punctuation-free tweets about everything from strippers to Christina Aguilera. If you’ve been on the fence about joining Twitter- sign up, follow her, and thank us later.

Beattie’s deadly mixture of wit, self-awareness and scorching beauty make her a unanimous choice for our Wife Pretty Hall of Fame.

On episode 18 of our podcast, we took a “sharp left turn”. We stopped self-censoring and began discussing things like “asshole bleaching as a reality show”, “Dick Slam Monopoly”, and Aaron Neville washing his mesh tank tops in a bathtub. Since then, we’ve unabashedly pursued Sarah as a podcast guest. Her sense of humor and love of the geek culture (check out her cosplay pics) would make for a fun show. Chatting with the sharp-tongued Hawaiian would be a dream come true.

The initial plan was to embed some of nachosarah’s tweets in this post to give you a sample of their brilliance. When I pulled up her feed to try to choose a few, I couldn’t do it. I honestly couldn’t narrow it down to a handful because they’re all that good. See for yourself.

When I’m off Twitter for a day or more, hers is the only feed I specifically go back and check to make sure I don’t miss a single priceless tweet.

So far, Wife Pretty Hall of Fame charter member Julie Bowen has had the best reaction to her induction (see below). If nachosarah responds, we’ll be braced for something brutally honest and clever. No pressure.

UPDATE: Here is the official @nachosarah response (can’t embed the tweets, as they have since been deleted)
