The Teaser Trailer for Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ is Here and WOW

I don’t know about you, but seeing that Netflix splash screen followed by the Marvel placard gave me an unexpected chill. It finally made real what we’ve known was coming for months – that Matt Murdoch is the first of many Marvel characters that have joined one of the strongest stables in television.

Wow does this show look gritty. “I’m asking for forgiveness… for what I’m about to do.” Hell yes. Daredevil has been perceived by many as Marvel’s closest answer to Batman for a long time, and a lot of casual fans are about to see why.

At first look, and for what very little we see of the supporting cast (yay for the back of D’Onofrio’s head!), the choices appear perfect, and this trailer does nothing but increase the hype and expectation for the show’s debut.

Daredevil stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Wife Pretty Hall of Famer Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Bob Gunton as Leland Owlsely AKA The Owl, Vondie Curtis Hall as Ben Urich, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, and Bobby Goren himself, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.

All 13 episodes of the Netflix Original Series Daredevil premiere on April 10.

It looks like it’s going to be pretty good! Getting a little more excited for the other Marvel series coming now.

I agree. That trailer had the opposite effect on me as the Fantastic Four one did.

This looks awesome! Kingpin!!! They’re not messing around. I guess I’m going to have to subscribe to Netflix. I have Amazon Prime, so I’ll have to make the switch.

Netflix has really forced the hand of Marvel fans, which comprise MOST of the 18-34 demographic at this point!! Before they announced these shows, I was actually considering letting my subscription lapse. Can’t do that now!
