On Sunday, November 11, The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center was home to the first edition of RetroCon.
A convention celebrating all of the things that made the 70s, 80s & 90s great, RetroCon was a smashing success, and looks to be back in 2013. From artists, cosplay, toys, games, comics, vendors, booths, contests and door prizes to special guests, RetroCon had everything you’ve come to expect from a standard convention.
Our own Hail Mary (host of the new Walking Dead podcast The Walking Dads) met up with a team of special correspondents (none other than Twitter’s @MeisterShake & @LamarRevenger) at the con and recorded a special edition of the UnderScoopFire Podcast!

As is standard with any con Meister Shake attends, the Corey and Howie action figures made the trip, except this time action figure Howie’s wardrobe selection was a bit regrettable.
At New York Comic Con, action figure Corey and Howie got to meet Larry Hama. This time, it was Salacious Crumb & R5-D4! Of course, yarn Soundwave was in attendance as well.
