Happy Tweetsgiving! The 10 Tweeters We’re Most Thankful For

by Howie Decker @HowardTheDeck on November 21, 2012

in Lists

Much like the Jelly of the Month Club, Twitter is the gift that keeps giving the whole year ’round.

These tweeters constantly fill our timeline with nuggets of humor, insight, or valuable information – but mostly humor –  in 140 characters or less. If you’re on Twitter, these are 10 accounts who we consider must-follows.

P.S. By now, everyone knows how we feel about @nachosarah, so she will not be on this list.

10. Rob Fee @robfee

Fee has been the author of our podcast’s Tweet of the Week on more than one occasion. His recent Saved By The Bell Wikipedia page modification is brilliant.

9. Dave Hill @mrdavehill

Author of Tasteful Nudes, his website is the “#3 source of all things Dave-related”.

8. Patrick Walsh @thepatrickwalsh

Writer for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia & 2 Broke Girls, his profile reveals his stint as the neighbor in the “short-lived 227 spinoff, 228”.

7. Karl Welzein @DadBoner

He refers to his apartment as the “K-Money Club” and chronicles the awkward encounters with his landlord, you guys.

6. Lauren Ashley Bishop @sbellelauren

A comedian from Arkansas who “comedes all over”, check out her avatar for a detailed Diet Coke Bong schematic

5. Brandon Vaughn @brandamonium

Earlier this year he tweeted this gem dandy: Love how hipster girls be shaving the side of their head looking like they just had a sexy ass brain surgery get well soon, girl!

4. Josh Patten @thejoshpatten

Check out his #31DaysOfBillyJoelHalloweenCostumeIdeas

3. Jon Hedren @fart

Being in possession of the Twitter handle @fart is a huge responsibility. I looked it up one night after 4 hours of drinking beer, playing Golden Tee, and passing hot gas in a corner at Buffalo Wild Wings. I expected it to be registered and sitting criminally dormant with the last tweet being something like “#swag” 226 days ago. I was wrong, and completely delighted.

His website is one of the best I’ve ever visited.

2. Mary Charlene @IamEnidColeSlaw

The “Garbage Pail Kids version of Zooey Deschanel” was called an “amazing tweeter” by Rob Delaney, which is like Alan Thicke telling you he likes your hair.

1. Rob Delaney @robdelaney

No mystery here. We mention his tweets on a weekly basis on the podcast. It’s highly unlikely that you’d be reading this and not already following Delaney, but if that’s the case- go fix it.

Awesome! Some of these guys are new to me.

P.S. I’m not a bit surprised to learn AC Slater was a terrorist.
