Run for your life! If you register for this zombie infested 5k race, that’s exactly what you’ll be doing. What a fantastic idea. I know a lot of runners, and a lot of zombie fans. How many are both?
When we ran a story about this event in 2011, the only upcoming location for the race was Baltimore, MD, but the “virus has spread” to 7 new locations in 2012.
The concept of zombies is an old one, but interest in them has increased exponentially in the last few years. I was never much of a zombie guy, but AMC’s The Walking Dead has piqued my interest over its first two seasons, and this new G.I.Joe Zombie Viper hasn’t hurt either.
