Totally stole that line from the opening sequence of the video below, but I had to grab your attention somehow.
Whether or not you’re a fan of comics, or specifically Superman, doesn’t really matter here – this video will entertain you.
If you did live through The Death of Superman as a comic fan in 1992, this will be the funniest thing you watch this month.
The YouTube description:
A somewhat-mostly-accurate educational parody film by Max Landis, produced by Bryan Basham @bryan_basham
Starring: Elden Henson, Elijah Wood, Mandy Moore, Morgan Krantz and many more.
Keep your eyes open for other great appearances such as future Wife Pretty Hall of Famer Sarah Shahi and Simon Pegg!

Speaking of Sarah Shahi, tell me she wouldn’t be a perfect Lois Lane. Now THAT is a girl I could see Kal-El going for. He could get any woman on the planet! (Although I never had a problem with this Lois, either)
That was awesome.
Fun video, but I’m still looking forward to the Man of Steel. Supes’ appearance on the Brave & the Bold is also great.
I still need to see him on B&B – I set it up to record that ep and didn’t get it! Damn you DVR!
Great video!
Hilarious… But didn’t Jean Grey kill Death in Comics, like, 5 or 6 years before Supes died?
Good point. I was thinking about that as I watched it the first time, but this is so well done I give ’em the benefit of the doubt!
My wife was in the room while I was watching this and she asked if someone was parodying DC, I almost fell out of my chair, I said “no dear this is a pretty accurate retelling of the death and return of Superman, well except for all the cursing”
hah- yes, the DC executives scenes were pretty amusing. It’s a grey Hulk!
LOL, Richie Cunningham!
I’m always so impressed by a Ron Howard cameo, but I’m not sure why- he seems to pop up everywhere!
