This unaired SNL Justin Bieber sketch is quickly becoming the stuff of legend.
Bill Hader and two other SNL writers introduce the following clip and give follow up commentary as well. What you are about to see is from dress rehearsal, as the skit never aired.
In the opening moments a part of the set falls on Bieber, and in typical fashion Hader handles it genuinely and hilariously.
What happens from there is clearly Hader flexing his comedic muscles as the most random and underappreciated talent of our time. The instruments, the milk, the Hulk hands, the audience they’re performing for – it all clearly hails from the mind of Hader and his partners, and perhaps it was this extreme randomness that caused the skit to be cut from the show (What’s Up With That seems to be as random as Lorne is willing to go nowadays).
I’d say this is the best un-aired sketch I’ve ever seen, but that title still belongs here. Just imagine standing between Hader and Fred Armisen as they try their best to make each other laugh.
I will never be able to get enough Hader. Ever.
How freaking cool is this? I want more commentary on sketches. This should be a new show. Bring back old cast members and guest and do that on sketches good and bad.
