Guardians of the Galaxy and Dumb & Dumber To

I’m with Corey, those are the two I’m most looking forward to seeing, but I’ll probably only end up seeing one in the theater.

that’s the funny thing with this crowd, most of us are like “I get to see TWO movies in the theater??! HELL YEA!” Last one I saw was Cap 2, and that was 2 months after it came out. Can’t remember the last one before that. Thor 2? Jeez.

I think that out of the last 10 movies that I saw in the theater, 7 of them were kids’ movies. That’s ok though, most of them are pretty good.

TMNT and Expendables 3

For some reason, I think the Bay haters might walk away from TMNT with less hate than Transformers. I’ve got some good laughs in the trailers and you know it will have some good action. Hopes high.

I don’t care if Expendables 3 is PG-13, that’s a helluva lineup.

P.S. I hope Guardians bombs. Nothing against the franchise itself of which I know nothing about. Just think Marvel needs some humble pie before we start getting She-Hulk and Iceman movies.

you’re crazy Sock! GotG is gonna rule, and I for one welcome our new Marvel cinematic overlords. Can’t wait for the She-Hulk AND Iceman films, especially if they are a team-up! *slumps in corner, shakes nervously

Of course, my view is that of a comic book posing movie watcher. I guess the real geeks need something to tie them over until Avengers part deux. I’m starting to feel the comic book movie burnout. I guess it didn’t help that I missed Cap 2.

I gotta believe though even the comic book geeks get burnout, right? Why else would the keep changing the gender, race, and sexual orientation of major characters

Got to admit I was wrong and I haven’t even seen the movie yet.

I’d see Guardians of the Galaxy twice and be perfectly happy.

I would put Clerks III on my list, but I heard that has been delayed because the studio isn’t going to fund it yet.
From the others you have listed, I would say Guardians of the Galaxy & Expendables 3, but I am sure there have to be some others not on your list that I would consider.

The only two we’re trying the rest of the year is GOTG and Hunger Games 3. Might be some home viewing of the Purge too.
