On Saturday and Sunday, April 28 & 29, members of the Garrison Excelsior 501st Legion descended upon The National Museum of Play for In Another Galaxy Weekend.

The Star Wars galaxy was well represented by The Empire, the Rebellion, bounty hunters, Jedi, droids and much more.

Looks like everyone had a great time, even your wife. Mine has stated that there is no way she would have gone.

It was actually my wife’s idea to go! Tank had mentioned it to me, and we sort of hmmed and hawed (sp?) about it, then Jess was like “OH we’re going! Can’t miss that!” Guess I’m a pretty lucky guy!

My wife has a thing about costumes. She refuses to wear one for Halloween, wouldn’t go to Comic-Con with me even if it were free. I won tickets to the PA Renaissance Faire and it took convincing to get her to agree to go.

Pretty cool pics!

Always great to see cute kids and Star Wars together.

True – things like that are always crowded but well worth it if the lil’ ones enjoy it.
