The 100 Sexiest Women on Television | 2014 Edition

by Staff & Contributors on April 11, 2013

in Lists, Television

This time we decided to spare you the verbose, long-winded write ups that would have just reiterated each woman’s sexiness in a different way. Here, we just give you a name, their show, and a pic- because in my experience no one who clicks a ‘100 Sexiest’ of anything is looking for words.

Every woman on this list is currently appearing in new episodes of a first run television show.

Make sure to leave comments – who did we leave off the list, who is too high/too low? Let us know!

WOW @#1! Good pick, she is gorgeous in everything I’ve seen her on including Conan last night!

Howie Decker March 19, 2013 at 8:01 pm

Yup. She’s striking. Has kind of a Carol Alt thing going on + that accent!

Dex (@Dex1138) March 19, 2013 at 2:44 pm

I admit I was stunned Hannah wasn’t #1 but I’m totally on board with Ms Cohan.

Nicole Richie & Nicki Minaj? Did you run out of list filler?

Karen Gillian, technically not on Doctor Who anymore but I’m ok with that, she should be higher. And go ahead and replace Minaj/Richie with the new companion, Jenna-Louise Coleman.

Howie Decker March 19, 2013 at 3:46 pm

hah. You should see the Facebook conversation happening as we speak between the contributors to this list (who didn’t see each other’s submissions until it posted). Those two in particular are hotly contested. For the record, I’m on board with both in the top 100. Neither would make my top 20, but I’ve always had a slight thing for Nicole Ritchie. Glad you dig Cohan at 1!

BM Punk March 19, 2013 at 3:45 pm

what. a. list.

Howie Decker March 19, 2013 at 3:47 pm

Would’ve loved to have been able to include ladies like Minka Kelly, Katrina Bowden, Tina Fey and Anna Torv, had their shows or roles not JUST ended!

Tom March 19, 2013 at 5:44 pm

C’mon you can’t tell me there aren’t reruns on somewhere 🙂

Howie Decker March 19, 2013 at 7:59 pm

Hah- the only stipulation was they had to currently be on a first run show. If not, it opened the door for hundreds of other entrants

Will March 19, 2013 at 4:20 pm

Second Generation Wayans? Ha! Howie, I had no clue.

Howie Decker March 19, 2013 at 7:58 pm

Me neither!

Hail Mary March 19, 2013 at 5:51 pm

Yes! I was wondering where Lauren Cohan would end up, and to see her at number 1 tells me that even though I didn’t get my list into you before you put it all together, my thoughts are still well represented. We are after all, like minded individuals at USF. And, speaking for myself and Griff, the number 1 pick gets four thumbs up from The Walking Dads.

Howie Decker March 19, 2013 at 7:59 pm

Awesome Brian. Glad you approve!

T2H March 19, 2013 at 8:01 pm

Just a couple points of note:
Do web series count re: Robin Wright?

I watch neither, but isn’t Shakira on The Voice?

And what’s up with Hayden at 71?

Otherwise, fine work, gents.

Tank March 19, 2013 at 9:13 pm

There were no rankings just numbered names. 1-10 were the only ones that meant anything ranked wise

Howie Decker March 20, 2013 at 11:03 am

well, I wasn’t gonna tell the world that, just the contributors, but sure Tank- blow up our spot!

Howie Decker March 20, 2013 at 11:09 am

Yes, web series count, since I make the rules.

Hayden at 71 is too low or too high?

T2H March 19, 2013 at 8:02 pm

Oh, and I kinda have a thing from Lara Spencer, ever since Antique Roadshow. Knew she was on GMA. Pleased to tell me about Flea Market Flip?

Lamar The Revenger March 19, 2013 at 8:15 pm

Nicki Mangy Minaj?? I saw her and I threw up a little..

Howie Decker March 20, 2013 at 11:09 am

to each his own, I guess. I’d take her over probably 15-20 others on the list. Perhaps we should discuss this on a podcast sometime!

Count Marzo March 19, 2013 at 8:42 pm

I’m realllllly bad at current tv but I can definitely #appreciate such a list. 🙂

Howie Decker March 20, 2013 at 11:08 am

We had mr. #appreciation himself on board to lend credibility to the list. It’s like when we had Nacho Sarah for the funniest women list, she sent in so many I had never heard of that it terrified me. I realzed that if I had done the list myself it would reveal how horribly sheltered and non-inclusive my tastes are.

Count Marzo March 20, 2013 at 4:17 pm

That’s hilarious. My list would be THEE worst since I don’t watch much current tv. I don’t think there are too many hotties on the Food Network to put on a list either. lol!

My “#appreciate such a list” comment was a shoutout to Mr. e over there.

@eclectik March 20, 2013 at 12:45 am

I’m the only one on the planet that doesn’t know a thing about #1 and I helped with the list … shes attractive I guess but I see about 20 Id rather have.

Im also responsible for Minaj and Ritchie being on the list … diversity.

David May 16, 2013 at 9:37 pm

Stana Katic 67… and behind Nicole Ritchie… FAIL…

Justin May 17, 2013 at 2:01 pm

Glad you picked Lauren Cohen at #1, b/c people always tell my wife she looks like her!

Howard Decker May 17, 2013 at 2:54 pm

hey-o! Good for you man!! Hah. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

David June 26, 2013 at 1:47 pm

Stana Katic at 67!!! Are you kidding me. Even if as you say only the top 10 were ranked, she should BE in the top 10.

Howard Decker June 26, 2013 at 8:01 pm

I agree with you. She’s in my top 5 for sure. I put her in the headline image but shouldve ranked her higher.

Gene Baurys July 3, 2013 at 8:51 pm

Really, Soledad Obrien and not Megyn Kelly. I didn’t know anti Fox News bias was a consideration in the eavluation of beautiful women.

Howard Decker July 5, 2013 at 12:50 am

You’re absolutely right. About a month after we published the list I tweeted Megyn Kelly as a glaring omission. She’s stunning.

Joe July 29, 2013 at 12:17 pm

I’m sorry to inform you, without the inclusion Yvonne Strahovski, your list has been deemed invalid.

Howard Decker July 29, 2013 at 4:41 pm

I think she was between shows when we made the list – Chuck was definitely off the air, and her run on Dexter hadn’t begun yet. Is that possible? That’s what I’m going with. She was definitely not left off for lack of hotness. Had the same problem with Minka Kelly- she was “showless” at the time of publication.

Mike July 31, 2013 at 7:18 am

I have to strongly disagree with Emilia Clarke in the bottom 10. She would be in my top 10. And Minaj doesnt make my top 100. Other than that, well done.

Howard Decker July 31, 2013 at 10:04 am

thanks Mike!

Jeriel August 21, 2013 at 11:53 am

Have you ever the seen the show lost girl?

Frank Visage January 24, 2014 at 3:04 pm

So, you’ve got Kim K and Nicole Richie but no Tatiana Maslany, Valorie Curry, Anna Silk, Ksenia Solo or Jaime Murray? Are you high?

Kassh July 8, 2014 at 1:36 pm

I just cant even begin how wrong this list is in some places.
I wont even mention strange placements, but placing Nicky Minaj higher than Emilia Clarke and Emily Bett Richards is just wrong(in fact placing Nicky Minaj on the list is just wrong)..
Where the hell is Willa Holland? Natalie Dormer? Jennifer Aniston? Olivia Wilde? Yvonne Strahovski? Mary-Louise Parker?

HowardTheDeck July 8, 2014 at 1:58 pm

a lot of the women you listed were not on a currently-running show when this list was published over a year ago (Aniston, Strahovsky, Wilde). If the list were published today, Rickards would likely be in the top 50 based on the most recent season of Arrow, and she’d be joined by her castmate Caity Lotz who was not on the show yet at time of publication. Willa Holland would be a good addition, I’l give you that.

SlamAdams July 17, 2014 at 1:30 pm

Damn fine top 2. I would switch Arrow’s Cassidy and Rickards in a hear beat though

HowardTheDeck July 17, 2014 at 1:58 pm

Ya know, it’s amazing how things change so quickly. This was posted early on in the first season of Arrow. If I were to rank now, Felicity would be far higher than Laurel, and Sarah would be on here as well (of course). Thanks for the comment!

MikeTX62 July 17, 2014 at 4:39 pm

I just found this list, so I don’t know when it was published, but I did spot some glaring omissions. How do you have a Hot 100 TV Actress List without Yvonne Strahovski, Olivia Wilde, Natalie Dormer, or Cote de Pablo? How do you have Kat Dennings from 2 Broke Girls (which I agree with, though I’d have her higher that #60) but NOT include Beth Behrs? What about Molly Quinn?

I have to wonder if there isn’t a little anti-FOX News bias at work here, b/c I don’t see how you could NOT include Megyn Kelly, Andrea Tantaros and Kimberly Guilfoyle?

Finally, Daniela Ruah at #95? Are you kidding? She’s Top 10 at least!! Others on your list who I would’ve ranked much higher would include Lucy Hale (#92), Katharine McPhee (#86), Emilie de Raivin (#76), Stana Katic (#67) and A J Cook (#40). While Sara Shahi at #20 is OK, she’d be even a little higher on my list.

As for people on the list who SHOULDN’T be, I would exclude Nicki Minaj and Kim Kardashian for sure.

I look forward to your corrections (lol)!!

@eclectik September 4, 2014 at 5:12 am

I think a TV Woman fantasy draft needs to happen
2 Sitcom
2 Drama
1 Reality
2 Flex

Listeners/Readers vote on the best/sexiest roster

HowardTheDeck September 6, 2014 at 9:19 am

I am ALL about this. Next podcast.

Adrian Sanchez February 24, 2015 at 9:43 pm

where is Alex Vause from Orange Is The New Black? that girl is so hot

Howie Decker @HowardTheDeck February 25, 2015 at 1:18 pm

Agreed. This list is from a few years ago. An updated version is in the works!
