This Wrestling Entrance (Featuring a Dinosaur and a Sword!) Makes The Rock Look Like Mr. Rogers

Original UnderScooper Battle Armor Joe has uncovered what may be the best professional wrestling entrance in history. In fact, this may be the best way any human has ever entered any room or building.

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Kazuchika Okada doesn’t even emerge until around the 1:15 mark in this February 11 ring entrance, but it’s what happens for the first 75 seconds of the video that puts this in a class of its own. Eat your heart out, Rey Mysterio.

I’m not sure if this is his routine entrance, or if this was a one-time thing. It seems to be becoming a trend though. MMA fighter David Rickels was accompanied to the ring by a (much smaller) dinosaur at a recent event as well. Either way, Okada’s raptor and broadsword make Stone Cold Steve Austin’s “glass break” seem pretty tame by comparison.
