We continue to spotlight the people who make the world a better place for us pop culture nerds (and, by default, a better place in general). Check back next week for part three, and in case you missed it, #1 is here.

James Hance

Relentlessly cheerful and unabashedly in love with all things geek, James Hance is an artist in every sense of the word. Sculpting, shadowboxes, paintings…if it’s an artistic endeavor, James does it with a smile on his face.

Hance takes his love of the nerd genre – from the Muppets, to Indiana Jones, to Star Trek, to Doctor Who – and creates stunningly beautiful pieces of art from his imagination. His website’s footer classifies his art as “Pop Culture, Parody and Nerdy, Nostalgic Geeksplosions On Canvas”.

Check out some samples of his work below, and be sure to visit his website and like his Facebook page, Relentlessly Cheerful Art by James Hance.
