Artist and super-child of the 80s Patrick Ballesteros hits another one out of the park with his brand-spanking-new piece, “Afternoon Tea”.

In case you don’t remember, Ballesteros was the genius behind Land of Nostalgia, which we highlighted last month. Check out his site, and marvel at the Nostalgia section for tons of awesome work.

“Afternoon Tea” depicts a kids’ backyard afterschool tea party (girls only of course), where all of the partygoers are dressed as female cartoon characters, superheroes and villains. Curiosity has gotten the best of the boys, as they try to peer over the fence to see just what happens at these “girl parties”.

The piece is on display at Ltd. Art Gallery in Seattle and Ballesteros plan to have prints of it available for Wondercon 2013 in Anaheim at the end of the month.
