So, you’ve finally elected to upgrade your Windows OS to the latest, 10th, version. Now it’s high time you fulfilled your other digital dream. You can quickly install iTunes, Apple’s terrific tool that allows users to arrange and manage their media library, on your Windows 10 right now.

Downloading and Installing iTunes on Windows 10

Fire up your browser and head to iTunes official website. If it’s not the first time you’re downloading Apple’s products you know where to look for it.

Locate the iTunes Download page and click the Download Now button in the lower right-hand corner of the window. By doing so, you’ll start downloading the installer file to your computer.

  • If due to some reason downloading iTunes from Apple’s official site isn’t an option for you, you may look for another reliable online resource offering iTunes download 64 bit.

To proceed with downloading, scroll down the page and click “Save.”

Once the download is complete, you should select the “Run” option to launch the installer file.

On Welcome screen, click “Next.” Then you’ll see the installation options.

If you’re not satisfied with the default settings, you can tailor them to suit your individual needs. You can select the language from the drop-down list, change the folder where your app will be installed, etc.

Once you’re through with tweaking settings, you may proceed to install iTunes by clicking “Install.”

Then, you should receive the Congratulation message notifying of of the successful completion of installation.

Choose “Finish” and restart your computer.

Creating an Apple Account and Logging in to Windows 10

Now that you have iTunes you can start arranging your current collection of audio and video files and shop for new items from iTunes store, which is impossible if you still haven’t an Apple ID. Below we’ll explain how to create an Apple ID account on your Windows 10 device.

First, you need to start iTunes. You can do it either from your Start menu or desktop.

After the app opens, select the “Account” option from the main menu.

At this point you can start the registration process. Choose “Sign In” and then click “Create New Apple ID.”

Scroll down the page and click “Continue.” At this point, you should carefully read the Terms and Conditions agreement. Once you familiarize yourself with iTunes’ policies, you’ll need to confirm your consent by ticking the corresponding box next to “I have read and agree to these terms and conditions.”

Then you should click “Agree” and provide your actual email address that will be henceforth used for communication with you.

Once you provide you email address, you’ll need to come up with a strong enough password for your new account.

You’ll need to type your password two times. When entering it the first time, the system will check it and inform you of the degree of its reliability. Entering the same password the second time is necessary for confirmation.

Apple takes care to protect your privacy and sensitive information and therefore, prompts you to pick a security question from of the list. Just click the dropdown arrow and select the one that suits you.

Don’t forget to type the answer to the selected question. Make sure to remember the answer, since you may need it in the future, for instance, when restoring the password.

Apart from choosing security questions, you’ll need to type the day, month, and year into the corresponding fields. And click “Continue.”

After that, you’ll be prompted to submit your billing information. We’re sure you’re no stranger to this, so you’ll be able to quickly enter the required information.

Once you’re done, Click “Create Apple ID.” Check your email for a verification link you’ll need for your Apple ID.

Click OK after you verify your email.
