When you Google ‘Connie Britton’ the related searches are: ‘Connie Britton hair’, ‘Connie Britton legs’, and ‘Connie Britton hot’. Kinda says something about her appeal.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, Connie first caught our attention way back in 1996 as the lovely Nikki Faber on Spin City. Nominated twice for the Oustanding Lead Actress Emmy, Connie shined as Tami Taylor on Friday Night Lights. Go here for my complete thoughts on FNL.

Connie reappeared on The West Wing in 2001, and then starred in the 2004 Friday Night Lights movie as Sharon Gaines. She briefly appeared as Jack Bauer’s girlfriend on Fox’s 24 in 2006 (6 episodes), and was in the 2010 version of A Nightmare on Elm Street,  but it was her turn as the coach’s wife and the shining star of Dillon, Texas that won her a permanent spot in our hearts.

Connie Britton seems to have the brains to match the beauty. The daughter of a physicist, she graduated from Dartmouth before making her 1989 theatrical debut in New York City. On the path toward her breakout role, she roomed with fellow Virginian and actress Lauren Graham.

Most recently, Connie completed season 1 of FX’s American Horror Story. She starred as Vivien Harmon, and was a bright spot in an engaging and highly entertaining show. Check out UnderScoopFIRE Podcast Ep17 where we discuss AHS at length with ESPN’s AJ Mass and Fogs’ from Fogsmoviereviews.com.

We are proud to induct Connie Britton into the UnderScoopFIRE Wife Pretty Hall of Fame! Click here for more on the hall, or here to see all of the inductees.

This is the first time that I’ve had to disagree with an inductee. Yeah she is good looking, I am not going to argue that the’s not, but she just doesn’t do it for me. I never really liked her as an actress; she’s always kinda been whiny and annoying to me.
