Here’s what we’re SCOOPin’ today:

50 people you wish you knew (like whoever owns that Contra sweater). (spotted by Mr. Serious)

Apple engineer has his nickname printed on his business cards. No big deal, except that his nickname is “Fuckchop”. I’d like to meet his co-workers, “Shit Kitten”, “Clown Bitch”, and Mark.

Did you know that Cookie Monster’s real name is Sid? Here are 24 other cartoon characters whose real names we never knew. (Except for ALF, we knew ALF’s real name.)

If a Nintendo Zapper was the weapon of choice in famous movie scenes. (via Rediscover the 80s)

Speaking of Nintendo, here is a functional NES Controller Coffee Table – they key word is functional. (spotted by Hail Mary)

Quentin Tarantino plans Kill Bill 3 for 2014. (spotted by Mr. Serious)

LEGO Microfig Star Wars Chess Set. So cool.

Birthday Babe – Adriana Lima

(I think she’s giving the “Two for Flinching” hand sign there. What a trickster.)

The Overly Defensive House Plant of the Day

Little known fact; Kitty White (Hello Kitty) was the original choice for the role of Rose Nylund. However, the producer of Golden Girls is notoriously racist toward Asians so they cast Betty White instead.

Would love to meet that guy in the first story who was dressed as both Hall and Oates… #BestCostumeEver

While the execution was a bit flimsy, the idea is a 10+. And maybe before the evening and the drinks it looked a little better. Actually, it’s friggin’ awesome what am I saying!?

Some of the toon names aren’t that obscure and some I’d rather forget, haha.

That Star Wars chess set is mighty impressive, I say.

Yeah, for every one that I really had never heard of, there seemed to be one that I always thought was common knowledge (ALF, Tweetie Pie). I want the Star Wars chess!

So the cat fight didn’t happen? Oh well, you can’t go wrong with either one!

As great as that would have been, no cat fight. Trying to arrange one between Kat Dennings & Brande Roderick for tomorrow!
