Here’s what we’re SCOOPin’ today:

Mere days after I analyzed the shit out of “Summertime” (a song I love by the way), Will Smith is releasing a 2012 Summertime Remix.

Fogs’ review of Prometheus is spot on. I liked it a lot, but..

Speaking of summer blockbusters, want to feel old? E.T. opened on this day in 1982. These summer movies turn 30 years old this year.

The Hallmark National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Keepsake ornaments have skyrocketed in value over the last few years. The 2009 & 2010 editions can be had on eBay & Amazon for a pretty penny. This year the Moose Mug joins the collection, which I believe we correctly predicted 6 months ago.

Speaking of Hallmark Keepsake ornaments – I can’t believe they are releasing this one! This is a must-hang on any child of the 80s’ Christmas tree. There’s also ornaments representing Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, The Muppets, the typical Star Wars contingent, and a heavy dose of The Avengers.

This guy looks like a perfect guest for our podcastThe Bad Joke Eel.

One of our favorite blogs, Joe A Day, recently turned one year old – to commemorate, they released a 1st Anniversary Special Podcast. They had some great guests and a good time. Congrats Joe A Day – here’s to many more anniversaries!

This LEGO Star Wars diorama is freakin’ mint.

Tired of fumbling for your phone or camera? Wear these glasses, record things, send video directly to social networking sites.

8bit plants and other cool video game tributes.

Today’s Birthday Babe was actually born on June 9, but since we didn’t post a Daily Scoop that day and there’s slim pickins today, here she is:

Birthday Babe – Natalie Portman

Have you guys ScooooOoOooOOOOped this Mrs. Doubtfire as a horror film trailer? It works pretty good and is somewhat hilarious in a twisted way. :) http://news.moviefone.com/2012/06/07/mrs-doubtfire-horror-film-trailer_n_1578176.html

Glad you were able to retro-babe Miss Portman. It’d be a shame to miss that bday!
