The Castle fans have spoken!
Det. Kate Beckett AKA Stana Katic garnered an impressive 50%+ of the vote, and as a result is our March 2012 inductee to the Wife Pretty Hall of Fame! Katic came out on top of an impressive field of nominees (from various sources) such as Jessica Biel, Olivia Wilde, Paula Patton and Ali Larter.
The more you watch the show, the more you put yourself in Castle’s shoes and strive toward taking the prize of Kate Beckett. But even if you have never watched the show, you can see why she is revered.
Katic is a native of Canada, but moved to the US with her family at a young age. Her parents were immigrants from Yugoslavia and besides English, can speak Croatian, Serbian, Slovene, French and Italian. After graduating high school in 1996, she enrolled at Goodman School of Drama in Chicago.
She started out her acting career with mainly guest appearances on television dramas, which included Alias, The Shield, ER, and Heroes.
Stana has some movie credits under her belt as well including supporting roles in Feast of Love, Quantum of Solace, the Spirit, and The Double. She also starred in the 2008 action film Stiletto and used her voice talent for the Batman: Arkham City video game.
Look for Stana on Monday nights on ABC’s Castle and also in the upcoming 2012 film Big Sur.
