It’s been a tough year for Hollywood stars and other legendary icons, there’s no question about it. From the recent loss of Canadian singer and novelist Leonard Cohen and NCIS showrunner Gary Glasberg to one of the greatest golfers Arnold Palmer and director Garry Marshall, the list is unfortunately way too long. The comedy scene suffered one of the biggest losses, as Gene Wilder passed away at the age of 83 from complications from Alzheimer’s disease. The content website BingoFind has put together an infographic highlighting some of the most memorable roles played by Gene Wilder, ranging from The Producers to Young Frankenstein and Hanky Panky to Bonnie & Clyde.

According to IMDb, the Internet Movie Database, Gene Wilder has 38 credits under his belt, including the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Stir Crazy movies, the made for TV movies Eligible Dentist and Thursday’s Game and the TV series Something Wilder. He even appeared on two episodes of the popular NBC sitcom Will & Grace playing Mr. Stein, winning an Emmy. According to The-Numbers.com, his highest grossing movie was Blazing Saddles from 1974 that went on to gross over $119 million at the domestic box office.

He will be sorely missed.
