Scorchcake of the Week: Chyler Leigh

My wife is an avid Grey’s Anatomy watcher. I am not, but if I were to be converted it would likely be to follow the exploits of the “other” Grey sister, Lexie (portrayed by Chyler Leigh, pictured at right).

With Ellen Pompeo’s impending departure from the show, Lexie could become the titular “Grey”. In my opinion, Leigh is a throwback to the pretty girls of the 80s, like Molly Ringwald, Tiffany, etc. She’s what I like to call “sneaky hot”.

I remember first noticing her in 2001’s Not Another Teen Movie. Rumors currently swirl that she has been fired from ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and her character may end up dead. If so, we hope she is cast on another show soon, and in the meantime check out the Chyler Leigh image gallery below!

Below is her first scene from the show (I’m told):

And she once had to kiss her brother (who was playing her love interest) in a movie!

That’s a role that one of them should have turned down.

Eww. That’s like if Anakin Skywalker had to kiss that oddly-hot pug faced chick on Parenthood

First saw her on That 80’s Show where she was a hottie punk rock girl.

I always envisioned That 70s Show running 8-10 seasons and them changing the title to That 80s Show but have the same cast. That was before Topher & Kutcher jumped ship. I think I watched one or two eps of 80s but don’t remember it. May have to find it to see her!

I used to envision the same transition for That 70s Show. A few yrs back, I found a few episodes of That 80s Show online. Not all that bad, really, but it never found its voice that first season. Plus, had it been a success, we never would’ve gotten It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Glenn Howerton was the lead).

I would like to wish Mandy Moore a very Happy 28th Birthday today. In my opinion, MUCH hotter than Ms. Leigh.

I don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy either, but do remember her in Not Another Teen Movie. Super hot.
