The internet is full of opinionated Star Wars fans, this we know. This particular fan has started a campaign to ensure Episode VII continues the tradition of hirsute mentor Jedi:

It makes sense for so many reasons, when you consider Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and the fact that he looks 98% more badass WITH the beard.
